He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan P. Holmes and Alice; his brother Dan P. Jr.; and his daughter Jennifer Lea Holmes. He is survived by: his significant other Mary Lee Townsend; his children, Jeff (Lori Holmes), Julia Holmes Angé of San Miguel, Janice (Bill Chevaillier) and Joan (Culver Stedman); his grandchildren, Heather, Josh Gower, Betsy, Brad Brown, Leslie Elaine, Alexandre, Lindsay Angé, Conner Chevaillier, Mathilde Chevaillier, Leigh, Gus Kerin, Culver Stedman II and Andrew Stedman; his sister-in-law Jeanne Holmes; and his brother Victor M. Holmes (Kathryn). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers Burt would have appreciated a donation to the Tulsa Botanic Garden, the John 3:16 Mission, the ACLU, or any charity of your choice.
