It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gene Dougherty of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, born in Hinton, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 20, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delores "Dee" (Quisenberry); his parents, John Dougherty and Louise (Nowka); and his siblings, Jack, Eleanor Hill and Bernice Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Vince (Paula) of Norman, OK, Michael (Katie) of Edmond, OK, Donna Martin (Phil) of San Francisco, CA and Ken Meyers (Pat) of Ardmore, OK; his grandchildren, Sarah, Nick and Brad Martin; and his sons, David Meyers, Mack and Luke Dougherty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NOC Gene Dougherty Scholarship Fund, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma in Ponca City, and St Joseph Catholic Church in Tonkawa.
