He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ernest McKinnis and Nellie McKinnis (White); his wife Velma Mae "Sue" Eaton; his children, Edward E. McKinnis (Suzanne) of Broken Arrow, Nancy Pinkerton of Tonkawa and Gaye Owen (Mike) of Tonkawa; his sister Virginia Cathey of Ponca City; his sister-in-law Evelyn McKinnis; his grandchildren, Kari Dempsey (Daryl), Jennifer Bell (Matt), James "Brad" Esch (Tracey), Jason Esch, Mark Pinkerton, Jeremy Owen (Annie), Kyle Owen (Michelle) and Casey Esch; and his sister-in-law Pat Cantwell (LaVell). He was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
