He was predeceased by: his parents, Jett Simpson and Lucille Cooper Simpson; his sister Leona Simpson; and his son Darren Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Price Simpson; his sons, Rick Simpson, Bryan Conard and Eric Conard; his daughter-in-law Bobbie Simpson; his grandchildren, Nikki Simpson (Tim Goergen), Emily, Taylor Simpson and Elizabeth Destfino; his sister Sondra Ailey (Floyd Ailey); his niece Debra Yeary (Raymond Schiltz); and his nephew Dennis Ailey (Ruth Ailey).
