She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorsey Shackleford and Rosie Shackleford (Dunkin); her husband Jimmie Alton Caraway; her daughter Shirley; and her siblings, Delphine Miller, Alfred, Dale, Thurman and Evertt.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Blackburn (David) of Troy, Shannon Hicks (Roger) of Troy, Beverly Golden (David) of Stratford and Jimmie Caraway (Darlene) of Tishomingo; and her brother J. R. Shackleford of Roff, OK. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westside Church of Christ (9500 US-377, Tishomingo, OK 73460).
