He was predeceased by: his parents, Harrison Columbus Gilbert and Alyeen Gilbert (Payne); his son Scott Bradley Gilbert; his brother Ernest Gilbert; his brother-in-law Calvin Nelson Sr.; and his great grandchild Otis Martinez.
He is survived by: his son Brad Gilbert Jr. (Tabby) of Kermit; his sons-in-law, James Barnett and Cal Bowman; his grandsons, Raymond Barnett, Charles Barnett, Shelton Barnett, Nicolas Barnett and Francisco Martinez; his wife Sandra Gilbert (Crow); his children, Quent Gilbert (Jeannine) of Midland, Pallie Bowman (Cal) of Tishomingo and Tara Barnett (James) of Ravia; his sisters, Daisy Lavonn Benge (Chester) of Ardmore, Connie Gayle Stevens of Ravia and Evelyn Kay Nelson of Tishomingo; his grandchildren, Cameron, Payton, Avery, Alexander, Kolt, Ali, Gianna, Taryn, Tanner, Duncan, Brian and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Riley, Scarlett, Finley, Samuel, Ava, Priscilla and Carter.
