He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Hill and Sally Hill (Lewis); his son James Hill; and his brothers, Jerry Lee Hill, Claud Hill, Clyde Hill, Sydney Hill and Josh Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hill of Tipton, Oklahoma; and his sons, Edward Lewis Hill of Dallas, Steven Ray Hill (Stephanie) of Pilot Point, Walter Hill, Jr. of Tipton, Craig Hill of Tipton and Robert Hill of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and many friends.
