It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Guadalupe Chapa (Tipton, Oklahoma), born in Mathis, Texas, who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ponciano Deleon and Elijia Deleon (Bordallo); her husband Hilario Chapa; and her children, Alcario Chapa, Larry Chapa (Gracie) of Sinton, Texas, Johnny Chapa (Lupe) of St. Paul, Jesse Chapa of St. Paul, Texas, Diana Ruiz (Carlos) of Buchanan Dam, Texas, Dalia Lopez (Robert) of Waco and Delia Welch (David) of Cedar Park, Texas. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
