With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Scott Simpson of Tipton, Oklahoma, born in Bakersfield, California, who passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lahoma Simpson (Southern) and Jack Simpson; and his granddaughter Angel Blackburn. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Nation of Frederick, Oklahoma; his sister Betty Carol Smith (Allen) of Anadarko, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Augustus Blackburn, Freedom Faye Berryman (Brian) of Wichita Falls and Lance Blackburn of Frederick, Oklahoma; his great grandchildren, Christopher Neal Johnson, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas, Annabella Lavonne Berryman of Wichita Falls, Texas and Juliette Marie Berryman of Wichita Falls, Texas; his nieces, Erin Berry (Tim) of Mountain View and Kristen Ford of Chickasha, Oklahoma; his cousins, Randy and Nancy Hasley; and also, Travis and Gina Edwards. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
