It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Aime Backes of Thomas, Oklahoma, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Felix Pierre Aime, III and Dorothy Aime (Volion); her husband Thomas J. Backes; and her sons, Todd Backes and Tom Backes, Jr.. She was also cherished by six grandchildren.
