He was predeceased by: his parents, Loriene Maude Claussen (Tolman) and Marvin Claussen; his brother Larry Claussen; and his granddaughters, McKinzie Claussen and Carissa Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Claussen; his children, LaDonna Taylor (Cary) of Thomas, Brad Claussen of Thomas, Shaun Claussen of Weatherford and Scott Claussen of Euless, Texas; his grandson Nathan Taylor (Sarah); and his sons, Bailey, Lane, Bodie and Wyatt Claussen.
Memorials may be made to the Bethany Brethren in Christ Church in Thomas.
