Wayne Rains Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2022, at the age of 80, Wayne Rains of Thackerville, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wadie Franklin and Artie Fay Rains (Edwards); and his siblings, C. Rains, Russell Rains, Syble Hollar, Virginia Teague, James "Snookie" Rains and Jerry Dan Rains.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Rains (Donna) of Marietta and Chad Rains of Thackerville; his sister Judy Elliot (Ray) of Marietta; his sister-in-law Helen Rains of Thackerville; his grandchildren, Tyler Rains, Jacob "Cole" Rains, Cade Rains, Morgan Handley (Chris), T. J. Rains and Asher Hartman; and his great grandchildren, Reece Handley, Chloe Rains, Zoe Rains and Renlie Handley.
The family has asked that those who wish to make a memorial contribution in Wayne's name, please remember the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
