He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Whittington and Dovie Whittington (Thedford); his wife Betty Jo Wade; his daughter Marquita Taylor; his granddaughters, Ginger Whittington and Jessica Taylor; and his son-in-law Bob Knox.
He is survived by: his children, Dale Whittington (Mary Kay) of Thackerville, Sue Ann Jones (Danny) of Thackerville and LaDonna Knox of De Kalb, TX; and his son-in-law Rick Taylor of Walters, OK. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
