He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasco Harland Wilson and Anna Belle Wilson (Odell); his wife Christine Wilson; and his siblings, Carol Wilson, Kay Williams and William Wilson.

He is survived by: his sons, Bobby Wayne Wilson Jr. and Ricky James Wilson (Joni); his grandchildren, Ethan of Thackerville, Emma of Thackerville, Brenton of Thackerville, Elyssa of Thackerville and Lily of Thackerville; and his sisters, Sandy Daniel and Debbie Daugherty.
