He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Boyd and LaRita Boyd (Opp); his grandchildren, Philisha and Perry; and his brother James Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Garcia (James) of Newton, Jennifer Carter of Texhoma, Lea Boyd of Newton and Stephanie Carrillo (Zeus) of Texhoma; his siblings, Mary Garrett (Donald), Mike of Monmouth and Robert Boyd of Monmouth; and his aunt Marlene Boyd of Galesburg, Illinois.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
