He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Yates and Helen Yates (McGuire); his wife Laura Kinselburg; and his daughters, Delores, Dee and Kondracki.
He is survived by: his former wife Fran Evans; his children, Sabra Farabee of Texhoma, Wayne Yates of Texhoma, Troy Yates (Molly) of Wyoming and Larry Campbell; his brother Claude Yates (Jackie) of Bentonville, Arkansas.; and his grandchildren, Clayton, Lauren, Sydni, Randi, Hanna, Austin, Sadie, Tristin, Kole, Kayla, Rachel and Ian. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
