He was predeceased by: his mother Betty J. Thornton (Proffitt). He is survived by: his father Jim L. Thornton; his wife Tracy Lou Nicholson of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his children, Blake Thornton of Muskogee, Colton Thornton of Cleveland and Tia Thornton of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his stepmother Gwen of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his sister Kazia Brister of Berryhill, Oklahoma; his granddaughter Emery Thornton; and his stepgrandchildren, Caleb Archer and K. C. Keil. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
