She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Julia Ballard and R. C. Ballard; her brother Robert Ballard; and her brothers-in-law, Bert Lewis and Ernie Nanney.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Burgess; her daughters, Angela Frew (Randy Frew) of Terlton, OK, Carrie Alexander (Eric Alexander) of Broken Arrow, OK and Holly Burgess of Long Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Benjamin Frew, Isaac Brown, Justus Garcia, Jackson Garcia, Jaden Garcia and Delaney Caceres; her siblings, Kenneth Ballard (Pat Ballard) of Victoria, TX, Joe Ballard (Twana Ballard) of Pretty Water, OK, Jean Lewis of Barnsdall, OK, Phyllis Nanney of Sapulpa, OK, Dee Brooner (Clyde Brooner) of Allen and Nelda Douglas (Kenneth Douglas) of Sapulpa, OK; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Ballard of Laurens, SC. She is also survived by twenty-eight nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered for her delicious homecooked meals, love of card games, loving work with special needs students, and charitable work with the Indian Electrical Roundup Foundation.
