He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Woodrell and Stella Woodrell; his siblings, Dwight Woodrell, Sr. and Dorothy Novotny; his nephew Dwight Woodrell, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Jim Wolfe.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine; his sons, Larry Woodrell (Ann) of Terlton and Roger Woodrell (Becky) of Terlton, Oklahoma; his brother Darrel Woodrell (Madelyn) of Cleveland, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Nicky Bevins (Kevin), Clint Woodrell (Holly), Austin Woodrell (Savana), Aubrey Elledge (Russell), Courtney Bart (Luke) and Caleb Hawks (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Brevon Bevins, Gus Bart, Emmaline Hawks Lewis, Ava Bart, Addy Woodrell, Jolee Bevins, Jake Woodrell and Cooper Hawks; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Thornton (Glenn) of Bixby, Oklahoma and Carmelita Wolfe of Cleveland, Oklahoma..
