He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Holdbrook and Mary Holdbrook (Harkins); and his siblings, Hank, Donald, Billie Hooper, Juanita Baxter, Dollie Smith and Birdie Erwin.
He is survived by: his wife Billie L. Barnes; his children, Jody Holdbrook of Temple and Darla Morris (Charlie); his brother Roy Holdbrook (Sharon); and his grandson Charles Morris Jr. (Nita). He is also survived by grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.
