He was predeceased by: his parents, Allena Celeste Seward (Wright) and James Seward; his son Scott Seward; and his siblings, J. M., Wid, Wade, Bill and Jessie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Ann Blades (Taylor); his children, Alex Seward Jr. "AJ" (Karina), Aaron Blades (Cindy) and Karen Richmond (Johnny); and his grandchildren, Christian Rodriguez, Steve Rodriguez, Daniel Castro, Scott Seward, Azael Seward, Karina Castro, Leila Davis, Josh Collins, Libby Whitecotton (Kyle), Jenna Collins, Molley Blades-Blevins (Chase), Dillon Richmond, Kaleigh Morgan (James) and Tristan Richmond (Amber). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren with 4 more on the way; many nieces and nephews, other family and a host of friends.
