He was predeceased by: his sons, Zackary Earl Carter, Zack Carter, Jr. and Randy Coy Carter; his parents, Alvis Carter and Lucy Carter; and his brother Jack Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Lola Mae Carter; his son Gary Carter; his daughter-in-law Joy Carter of Tecumseh, OK; and his grandchildren, Leslie Draper, Jason Carter, April Carter Bugg and Chance Carter. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
