He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Fred A. Barkley and Elizabeth Ducker Barkley. He is survived by: his niece-in-law Sheri Powers; his great-niece Stephanie Powers; his nephews, John "Vince" Powers, Charles "Chuck" Barkley, Mark Barkley, Tracey Barkley, Perry Barkley and Scott Barkley; his sister-in-law Marilyn Barkley; and his pet Buster. He is also survived by numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins.
