She is survived by: her children, Tammy Shorter of Tecumseh, OK and Arley Ernst Shorter; her sister Brenda Tunnell of Tecumseh, OK; her nephews, Grover Cleveland, Jr. and Rick O'Neal; and her niece Laqueta Matthews. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
