He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Qualls and Maria Qualls (Nunez). He is survived by: his wife Susie Qualls; his children, Thomas J. Qualls IV (Harley Rath) of Tecumseh, OK and Rebecca Smith; his close friend Doug McMahan of Tecumseh, OK; and his granddaughter Brailey McMahan of Tecumseh, OK. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 nieces.
