She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brawdy and Ethel Brawdy (Patton); her former husband Virgil Kenneth Niccum, Sr.; her husband Elmer Motley; and her siblings, Martha, Opal, Mary, Stella, Pansey, Sonny, David and George.

She is survived by: her close friend Sassy; her children, Barbara Glover of Tecumseh, OK, Virginia House of Shawnee, OK and Virgil "Kenny" Niccum, Jr. of Shawnee, OK; and her brother Bobby Brawdy. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
