He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hugh Shearer and Winona Shearer; his wife Carol Sue Rhoads; his siblings, Robert, Sara Shearer, Garry, Larry and Beth Shearer; his children, Jeremiah, Melinda and Mia; his stepchildren, Heidi Heyenga (Christine Rhoads) and Lester Rhoads; his grandsons, James and Aiden; and his sisters, Lynda Smith and Kathy Shearer.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873).
