She was predeceased by: her parents, John Tucker and Irene Tucker (Brock); her husband Jimmie Brooks; her sons, Jimmie Leon Brooks and Baby Boy Brooks; and her sisters, Claudine Davis and Janie Marrs.
She is survived by: her daughter Edie; her son-in-law Gary Akin of Shawnee; her grandchildren, Meredith (Jason Tyler) of Norman and Meghan Akin of Shawnee; her sister Sharon Kay; her brother-in-law Jim Myers of Tulsa, OK; and her great grandchildren, Brooklynn Marie Tyler and Holten Gray Tyler.
