We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 96, Leo Elmer Gokey of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, born in Miami, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Gokey and Ethel Gokey (Brock); his grandchildren, John Gokey, Jr., Benjamin Lack, Zachary Cleere and Mandy Hollingshead; his brothers, Adam Gokey, Jr., Cyrus Gokey, Frank Gokey and Louis Gokey; his half-brother Johnie "Bear" Gokey; and his sisters, Louise White and Emma Bernard.
He is survived by: his wife Mary D. Gokey; his son John; his daughter-in-law Judy Gokey of Tecumseh, OK; his daughters, Murna Lack of Tecumseh, OK, Roselyn (Rick Kerschner), Joanie (David Scovel) and Carol (Alvin Cleere); his grandchildren, Erin Meyers, Jody Blackwell, Jeremy Lack, Danielle Lack, Lidia Lack, Cody Lack, Stephanie Lack, Jessica Utter, Mark Whaley, Candy Scovel Green, Autumn Munier, Charli Scovel, Montana Scovel, Cheyenne Scovel, Kyra Hawkins, Joe Gokey, Bailey Cleere and Clayton Cleere; and his sister Helen Littleton. He is also survived by 39 great-grandchildren, other loving extended family members and friends.
