Juanita Idell Megehee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juanita Idell Megehee of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Juanita Idell Megehee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Drain and Lottie Drain (Butler); her husband Douglas Megehee; her grandson Douglas Leroy Megehee; and her siblings, Pauline Dutton, Lucille Day, Mary Quay, Ruby Hunt, Calvin Drain, James Drain and Junior Drain.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Megehee (Kathy) of Tecumseh and Linda Anderson of Shawnee. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (19002 S Gordon Cooper Dr, Shawnee, OK 74801).
