He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Shields and May Belle Shields (Killcrease); his siblings, Norma Jean Shields, Karen Shields, Tommy Shields and Larry Shields; and his grandson Gabriel Shields.
He is survived by: his wife Jenifer Sloan Shields; his children, Vinson Shields, Larrison Shields, Timothy Shields, Darren Shields, Michael Shields, Brent Shields, Tisha Shields Morgan and Kelly Shields; and his grandchildren, Jalyn Williams, Aaliyah Shields, Ty Shields, Angelique Shields, Eliana Shields, Elias Shields and Faith Shields. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
