He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hurst and Fayrene Hurst (Lovelady); his son Randell Hurst; his wife LaQuita Hurst (Malcom); and his sisters, Lorene Guadagna, Neva Knight, Helen Jean Patton, Eldean Wing, Joyce Parker and Margaret French.
He is survived by: his child Jamie Murray; his grandchildren, Stephenie Huett, Dustin Venable, Lindsay Youngblood, Ariana Hurst and Preston Hurst; his great grandchildren, Hayden Youngblood, Rhett James Venable, Landen Youngblood, Rylin Youngblood, Mila Huett and Olivia Huett; and his siblings, Jack Hurst and Patricia Ramsey.
