He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Evans and Alma Lee Evans; his brother Carl Evans; and his nephew E. C. Lawson. He is survived by: his sons, Jacob and Asa Evans of Roseville, CA; and his siblings, Donna Jones of Thackerville, OK, Tina Lawson of Wilburton, OK, Jane Evans of Wichita Falls, TX, James "Jimbo" Evans (Tammy) of Anahuac, TX and Larry Evans of Tecumseh, OK.
