He is survived by: his son Jermiaha Schmitz of Abilene, Kansas; his siblings, Pam Shopteese of Midwest City, OK, Yvonne (Gary Johnson), Terri (Seaman) and Joseph; his sister-in-law Nancy Shopteese; and his aunt Babe. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
