Michael Williams wrote a sympathy message

“Wow, I just found out today that he had passed. I am shocked. He was part of that 1986 Mets team that won the World Series. I was just 28 years old in that year. He was a very big inspiration to that team. My gosh, he will be forever missed. Am still in tears. Much love, respect and sympathy to the family. Mike Williams”
