He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Sr. Davis and Dorothy Davis; and his grandson Landon Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Marquita "Sissy" Davis; his children, Brent Taylor (Katie) of Concord, NC and Melissa Duke (James Sr.) of Shawnee, OK; his grandchildren, James "Jimmy" Jr., Timothy and Daisy Duke; his brother Carl Davis; his nephews, Derek (family: Darrel), Jimmy Davis (Shelly) and Kenny Davis (Sabrina); his niece Jessica Hollis; his sons, Dylan, Kyler and Milton Davis (Karen); his grandchildren, Keven (family: Cory, Kari Dahlke) and Jerry Davis; his sisters, Kaye Barker (Lee) and Veronica Melson; his nephews, Tyler and Bryan; and his niece Charity.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
