He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Benitez, and Francisca Benitez, Sr. (Pacheco); and his brother Jose Alfredo "Freddie" Benitez. He is survived by: his wife Donna Benitez; his children, Alina Garcia of Amarillo, TX, Edie Brown of Chickasha, OK, Terence Benitez of Chickasha, OK and Jerod (Cynthia Valdez); and his siblings, Gloria Romo of Snyder, TX, Maria "Stella", Abelino Valadez of Snyder, TX, Emma (Jim Bell), Martin Benitez, Jr. of Pasadena, TX, Rodolfo "Rudy" and Febe Benitez of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
