It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Newton (Tecumseh, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Newton; her son Otis F. Townsend, Jr.; and her brothers, Charles and James Mangus. She is survived by: her children, Damon "Danny", Martha, Marsha and Jamie. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren, six sisters, one brother.

The family respectfully requests that face masks be worn and to maintain appropriate social distancing according to the CDC guidelines.
