With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iva Lee Karnes in Taloga, Oklahoma, born in Dewey, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hunter and Alice Bell Whitehead; her husband Carrel Karnes; and her grandson Brian Karnes. She is survived by: her granddaughter Lynda Roy; her children, Eugene Karnes (Myra) of Higgins and Lynda Roy (Art) of Taloga, Oklahoma.; her siblings, Ellen Wilson (Flakey) of Harmon and Leland Hunter (Nancy) of Harmon; her grandchildren, Adam Roy (Jennifer) of Vici, Tyson Roy (Amanda) and Rana Baker (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Kristen Sowell (Mark), Matt Jones, Josh Jones, Reagan Roy, Georgia Roy, Priscilla Roy, Trinity Baker, John Ross Baker, Peyton Karnes, Lorelei Karnes and Brayden Beebe; and her great great grandchildren, Kimberly Knox, Addison Knox, Lillian Knox and Aiden Jones.
