He is survived by: his children, Vickie Marie Lanning Gaines, John Anthony Lanning, Jerry Wade Lanning and His; his stepdaughters, Sherry Lynn Douglas and Brenda Gayle Douglas; his nephew Kit Colsen; and his grandchildren, Rodney, Nathan, Timothy, Kimberly Clayton, Samantha, Jeffery, Elizabeth, Corey, Cole, Brittany, Rebecca Anne, Daniel, Joey, Terry, Joshua and Angie.
