Christine Thomas Penitoni was born December 6, 1952, in Talihina, Oklahoma, to Pickens M and Juanita (McAfee) Thomas. She passed from this life May 24, 2014, in Idabel, OK, at the age of 61. Christine enjoyed going to the Choctaw Casino, eating at senior citizens and spending time with her family and friends. Christine was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Oracy (Fobbs) Thomas; grandfather, Moses Thomas; son, Eric Thomas; grandson, Gabriel Benavidez; seven sisters; three brothers.

She is survived by one son, Gregory Edward Benavidez of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Shannon LeAnn Thomas of Idabel, OK; sisters, Wauleah Wagstaff of Idabel, OK, Wanda Francis and husband, Anthony of Wheeler, TX and Loretta Snyder of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Adrian Thomas, Valerie Lopez, Catalina Ramirez, Mia Benavidez, Gabriella Benavidez, Luiz Jr.

Ramirez, Tehya Benavidez and Sophie Durant; special friend, Mary Gee; as well as many other relatives and friends.
