We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joyce Garbey of Talala, Oklahoma, born in Haskell, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Hoover and Lona Hoover; her husband John Garbey Jr.; her son Larry Stanley; her grandson Matthew Stanley; and her brother JD.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bruce Sexton of Talala, OK, Nikki Perez, Perez of Tulsa, OK, Heather and Jason Jones of Rocky Mount, NC; and her caregiver Jill Poindexter. She is also survived by her 10 great grandchildren, her great-great grandson.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers you please donate in Joyce's name to a dementia or Alzheimer's charity, or to give in some way to help families and caregivers who are suffering from these diseases.
