She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Gourd and Eliza Gourd (Wofford); her siblings, Thomas Gourd, Jack Bird, Gail Bird and Bobbie Gourd-Barbara; and her son-in-law Mark Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Patrick Freeman Sr.; her children, Patrick Jr. (Cynthia), Eric (Vicki), Courtney Fowler and Phillip Bread (Charla Echohawk); and her grandchildren, Erica Sharp (Brett), Eli Freeman (Miranda), Jacob Freeman (Christina), Piper Fowler, Paige Fowler and Julie Magers. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, along with numerous nephews, nieces, great nieces and cousins.
