It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Erkaya of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Janie Champion (New); and her brother Richie Sims. She is survived by: her father Richard Sims; her children, Johnny Patterson, Savanna Erkaya, Robert McElhaney, Angela McElhaney, Nicholas McElhaney Anthony Sims and Santana Erkaya; her sisters, Robin Sims, Kelly Huntley and Lori Brown; her grandchildren, Robert Allen McElhaney, Zehra Erkaya, Charlena Loudermilk, Enola McElhaney and Alexis Sims; and her brother-in-law Cameron Huntley (Karen Carney).
