Susie Hummingbird Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Hummingbird (Tahlequah, Oklahoma), who passed away on July 20, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe B. Cochran and Emma Cochran (Killer); her husband Johnnie Hummingbird; her son Johnny Hummingbird Jr.; her grandson Mitchell Thompson Jr.; and her siblings, Mack Cochran, Henry Cochran, Joshua Cochran and Lucille Hummingbird.
She is survived by: her pet Bubba; her children, Cherry Thompson (Mitch) of Tahlequah, Susan Minor (Roger) of Stilwell, Mary Hummingbird of Stilwell, Joseph Hummingbird of Stilwell and Sean Hummingbird (Dana) of Kansas, OK; her daughter-in-law Becky Hawkins; and her grandchildren, Gwendolen Davidson, Christina Chastain, Roger Minor Jr. (Donetta), Jon-Gordon Minor, Angela Hummingbird (Brian Carter), Kendal Hummingbird, Felicia Hummingbird (Colin Queen), Jacob Roedenbeck (Melissa) and Joey Roedenbeck (Taylor). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.
When the pandemic forced church services outdoors, Bubba attended church along with his "Grandma" every chance he could.
