He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lowell Sr. and Ethel Geneva Boyd (Bolander); his brothers, Charles Floyd Boyd and Carl Lee Boyd; and his nephews, Terry Lynn Boyd, Glenn Allen Boyd Jr. and Eric Boyd.

He is survived by: his former spouse Lou Nell Campbell; his wife LouNell Boyd; his children, Ragenia Lou Houdyshell (Thomas) of Wagoner, Russell Lowell Boyd III of Wagoner, Richard Lee Boyd (Lucinda) of Wagoner, Robert Louis Boyd (Frances) of Tahlequah and Renia Lynn Batman (Tammi) of Davenport, OK; his grandchildren, Christopher Blake Boyd, Brittany Amber Boyd, Courtney Lynn Houdyshell-Milliman, Tiffany Nichole Houdyshell, Whittney Ann Boyd, Amanda Marie Boyd and Ashton Paige Boyd; his great grandchildren, Kyler Blake Boyd, Kinlee Allyn Boyd, Blaise Alexander Milliman and Autumn Haize Ellison; and his brothers, Glenn Allen Boyd Sr. (Terri) and Kenneth Eugene Boyd (Jeanine). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
