It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Jewel Jordan (Tahlequah, Oklahoma), born in Braggs, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 6, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Lucille Sanders (Lyman); her siblings, Herman Thornton, Sequoyah Sanders, Louis Sanders, Thomas Stokes Sanders, Margaret Redmon and Delilah Kelley; her son Melvin Henry Jordan; her grandfathers, Lewis Josuah Sanders (Maud Ellen) and William Lyman; her son Alvin Edward Jordan; her daughter-in-law Sherrie; her sisters, Rachel Austin of Muskogee and Delilah Kelly of Muskogee; her grandchildren, Brett Jordan, Kimberly Barnett (Dennis), Melvin Thomas Jordan (Tiffany), Sarah Geary, Melvin Edward Jordan (Audrey) and Elizabeth Majors; her great grandchildren, Kyle Jordan, Ashley Jordan, Dustin Jordan, Victoria Jordan, Clistia Geary, Lexis Barnett, Quayson Jordan, Michael Dale Jordan, Genesis Hinton, Lexie Jordan, Cheyenne Jordan, Isreal Hinton, Aubrey Ballentine and Amari Hinton; her great great grandchildren, Eli Jordan, Jolena Jordan, Jasmyn Jordan and Jathan Jordan; and her husband Troy Edward Jordan. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
