He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Oscar "Arthur" Tipton and Bessie Lee Dodd Tipton; his former wives, Earshelene Tipton and Iva Tipton; his sisters, Faye Hazelwood and Linnie Keith; and his brother-in-law Bob Hazelwood.
He is survived by: his spouse Earshelene Reed; his children, Terryl Tipton (Rhonda) of Mena, Arkansas and Tomi Kirkpatrick (Dean) of Hulbert, Oklahoma; and his brother-in-law Gene Keith of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home- Tahlequah (1506 N Grand Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the God's Mountain Church (17138 E 626 Rd, Rose, OK 74364).
