She is survived by: her close friend Sequoyah David Choate; her daughters, Billie Shields, Carroll Shield-Hunihan and Nancy Ryan (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Jason Shields, Reileene Gilkey (Tulsa), Jessica Shields Thornburg (Paul), Tani Shern (Brian), Tara Alexis Colvard (Brent), Jamie Hunihan and Rachel Patrick.
