He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Henson and Lucille Henson (Phillips); his wife Phyllis; his siblings, Paul, Watie, Roy Henson and Loretta; his nephew Tommy "Rooster" Henson; his sister-in-law Lucille Henson; his nephew Fred Griffin; and his brother-in-law Steve Whitekiller.

He is survived by: his former wife Phillis Farmer; his close friend Doris Beaver; his children, Jamie Dick (Alden) of Tahlequah, Cleo Gomez of Tahlequah and Robert "Toy" Studie (Krystal) of Tahlequah; his siblings, Ed Henson (Margaret) of Coweta, Don Henson of Lost City, Leda Whitekiller of Lost City and Hudy Jones (Larry) of Lost City; his sisters-in-law, Deloris Henson of Tahlequah and Mary Ellen Henson of Hulbert; his grandchildren, Donshay, Calesa, Talyn, Tyren, Jevan and Ryder; and his great grandchildren, Kanyn, Asher and Ella. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
